Nice place to grab some Mexican food in Mission (especially now that Jose Peppers is gone). Our food was very good. The Potato Fajita has like three kinds of meat and was enough to feed two people. Atmosphere was pleasant and service was good too. We will definitely be visiting again!
Oh My Goodness, this place was so good. Saw on Google Reviews it had over 4.5 rating so decided to give it a try and was not disappointed. We started off with the queso fundido and it was so flavorful! The jalapeno peppers added some punch without being overwhelming and the chorizo made it hardy. The Discada was a carnivore's dream. It's four or five different kinds of meat seasoned with Chipotle and served with nopales, rice and beans. Washed everything down with the biggest mug of horchata I think I've ever had! I highly recommend this restaurant!
The food was amazing and there were so many options! The service was good and I loved the ambiance. Definitely coming back!
We've been looking for a new favorite Mexican restaurant since Taqueria Mexico #1 closed. One of our other favorite restaurants, Lucky Brewgrille, used to occupy the same building as Campesino's, so we gave it a try. Wow, best we've had in a very long time. We especially enjoyed the chimichanga. The refried beans side are one the best we've had. The chips & salsa are only average, but everything else we had was awesome. Our server was very genuinely cheerful and attentive.
Excellent! By far the best enchiladas I’ve had in KC. You have to go down to the boulevard for anything comparable, chips and salsa, Big Margaritas I highly recommend!
Finally, I got to try Campesino's and thoroughly enjoyed it! Happy hour drink specials were amazing. The staff seemed kind. I had a jumbo watermelon margarita and a regular mango marg. Both are equally delicious but would recommend mango if you like a less sweet drink option. I tried some queso, cheese enchilada, rice, and grilled shrimp -nicely cooked and seasoned!
We went here for my birthday and enjoyed tacos and a huge giant margarita that was as big as my face?! Super good and great service.!
This place is the best in the area. It’s SO hard to find a restaurant that has chicken fajita nachos, and FINALLY i found the spot and they are delicious. Bonus!!! They have prickly pear margaritas, and a wide selection of flavored margaritas. This is the place for me :)
